If this option is selected, the Revit family will be duplicated. A new type will be created by the application using the name of the Glass chosen. The existing element family will remain as before. This will allow this Surface to have a different Glass Type to other instances where the same family is used.
Note: If you later wish to change this Glass Type, it would be good practice to create a new Panel Type or return to a generic Panel Type.
This will avoid confusion as the Panel Type created by the application uses the name of the Glass Type used. It is possible to retain this Type name but then change the Glass Type and this may then cause confusion later.
