Resolutions

2 minutesread

This area allows a review of the Analytical Resolution settings in Revit. Typically, if these are set too high, analytical spaces may be excluded as only areas with these resolutions and above are included. Setting the resolutions to the default may improve the energy model so that more spaces are included. It may not completely resolve the energy model if there are other model issues such as room bounding issues, element properties, gaps in the enclosure etc.

Moving the slider will change the resolutions proportionally from the current value settings (they are not modified to be the same value for spaces and surfaces).

Note: If the Energy Setting in Revit is open, the application may not be able to modify the values. Please ensure that Revit’s Energy Settings is closed when using this function. You may then open this after completion, to view the changes.
