The R-Value or U-Value will display the rate of heat transfer of the selected Surface(s) or Façade(s). Where multiple Surfaces/Façades are selected, the average value is displayed. When no selections are made, results display for the entire model.
Metric U-values are used for facade performance (if the output units are set to metric). Imperial R-values are used to indicate facade performance for imperial models (when output units are set to imperial).
These results for Facade Thermal Performance include properties for glazing and wall elements only (not roofs or floors), so this does not reflect the entire performance of the model envelope.
