This will open the splash screen for a detailed Revit model. Here you can Start analysis, Continue from a previous session or review and modify energy settings.

For Detailed models, the Splash Screen displays as shown below. There are also buttons provided for Settings and to Sign-out.

If the model has been opened before and results obtained, you may also see a Continue button.  This will allow you to return to the application with your previous results and settings saved.  You may also see a checkbox to generate a new Energy Model in Revit or choose not to. Only if the geometry of the model has changed, do you need to create a new Energy model for your project.

Clicking on ‘Open Energy Model Settings‘ will open a panel where you may review and, if necessary, modify these settings which will then update in Revit. Then press Start when this is complete.

Note:  If you have previously opened the same model, a checkbox option for ‘Create Energy Model’  may display if the model was saved.  This is to ensure that the energy model will be up  to date with the most current model condition.  If this checkbox does not display, a new energy model will be created anyway even if you press Continue.  The Start Over option will start the on-boarding process again.

The Settings icon is shown below. This provides access to user preferences for the application such as keeping the window on top of Revit, logging of errors, sending error logs, project units etc

A Sign Out button is also provided when you are finished a session and wish to log out (optional).
