This Section will describe the Smart Surfaces function to use performance targets to provide a shortlist of Glass Types that will achieve predefined results. By defining ranges for U-value, Heat Gain and Visual Light Transmission, a shortlist of Glass Types will be provided from which you may select.
First, select a Surface(s) on the model using the Façade Navigator list or by hovering over a Surface in the Model Viewer.
Then click on the Smart Surfaces button in the Glass Database Tab to open the dialog window (the button will only become available once Surfaces have been selected).
