For Conceptual Models, you may also input values for Walls and Glazing. As the thermal performance of the Walls or Glazing are improved, the Maximum Allowable Glazing will increase (more is allowed due to the higher performance).
As performance for Glazing and Walls reduce, both Current Façade Performance and Maximum Allowable Glazing Percentage values will also reduce.
By clicking on the down arrow beside the element values for Roofs, Floors, Walls and Glazing, a dial and slider will appear to allow you to adjust the values.
Adjusting thermal values for Roofs/Floors/and Glazing will not affect the dials on the Dashboard as these values are not being written to the model.
Adjusting the thermal properties for conceptual walls will affect the U-value or R-value dial on the Dashboard which is the Facade Performance.
Adjusting the U-value for glazing will not affect the Dashboard as glazing specification is defined elsewhere in the application (where actual glazing specification is defined under the Facades tab). The adjustment in the Performance Manager will only simulate a thermal property which will affect the maximum glazing allowed and potential current Facade Performance.
Adjusting Glazing Percentages will affect the Dashboard Dial for Percentage Glazing as this is applied to the model.
